I'd be more enthusiastic about a Sunday night game to be honest. I get Monday is the cool, nostalgic thing but Madden is gone and its Monday man, I'm tired, I'm busy, I wanna relax.

It's Monday Night football, the last game of the entire football week and the only football game on Monday.

Everyone will be watching and it will be the freshest memory on everyone's minds in the following week.

What better way to relax than come home after a long day and watch the Texans play?

SNF is definitely football's biggest stage.

He would think that because it's true. The match-ups are always bigger and better on Sunday night, the Sunday night game is on free over-the-air TV while Monday night is on cable, and the production value on Sunday night is just better. MNF stopped being the premiere game of the week about 6 years ago.

MNF lost me when they went to GreedSPN. I've never paid a cable or satellite bill and possibly never will.

SNF is not only available to all of us non-paying TV watchers, but it's incredibly well produced, has a solid broadcast team and generally has very entertaining matchups.

    SNF for the win.

...and MNF started going downhill when Madden started going senile and when they started putting comedians in the booth.

They're both big stages, but I like SNF better though and consider it to have surpassed MNF.

The two SNF games and the one MNF game remaining are all against pretty good teams though so it'll be fun to watch.

Every NFL game is a big stage.

Except for TNF and the London game, of course.

    ESPN vs NBC
Cable Network vs network that is available with anyone with a tv.

Jon Gruden liking every player and lack of criticism kind have ruined MNF luster the past few years.. Al Michaels and the addition of Chris Colinsworth makes SNF on a different level when it comes to presentation and the same can be said to Jim Nantz and Phil Simms.

I prefer SNF and CBS 3pm game over MNF.

The NFL has even stated that Sunday night is the new marquee matchup of the week themselves.

Is it just me, or has SNF traditionally been where NFC teams play and MNF where AFC teams play?

Since 2010 SNF has hosted 43 AFC teams and 63 NFC teams. What up wit dat?

I agree SNF has overtaken MNF. Production values for SNF are outstanding (although I hate Collinsworth) and the cable vs. broadcast tv thing seals it.

I'm usually too drunk by the time sunday night football comes around. If i'm sober, i've already had enough football during the day especially since the texans always play early sunday...so i just have SNF on but i hardly pay attention unless it's close in the 4th.

I like MNF because it gives me something to look forward too after work.. Sunday night games seems like they just stretching the day games too long.
