great game...albeit sloppy play by both sides at times.

could have gone other way...but we came up clutch at the end.

philly proved they are playoff caliber if they stay healthy.

WOooooo! I survived TO's first half barrage. Thanks Eagles D for shutting him down in the 2nd half.

I started Desean Jackson so needless to say, I'm not really happy about him dropping the ball before crossing the goal line. That kid is a stud tho

McNabb cost the Eagles the game. Considine needs to be cut, all he does is blow coverages. Eagles should have blitzed a lot more after Romo threw that pick and lost that fumble and kept him off-balance. Good game on offense by both sides, very bad defense by both sides although both teams shored it up in the second half. I have honored my bet. :(

McNabb kept them in the game. The dude is a hoss. I hate him because he's almost impossible to bring down...except for that last drive. :p

a terrific game, only made better by my team's win. :D

it really could have gone either way, and the 'boys D stepped it up when it really mattered most. this just makes the final game of the season count even more.

    Wow.

What a Monday Night Football game.. sheesh..

Eagles, hate em, they look like they have been coached up to be as dirty as the Sonics under George Karl.. but have to hand it to em, they came in here ready.. I think we survived their very best shot. Might wind up being the toughest game of the season.

if it matters, the game in philly on dec 28, will be even tougher. presumably both teams will be 100% healthy by then, meaning the eagles will add a couple of WR to their lineup.

so we should expect an 82-74 game?

now the thing to keep in mind is the number of mistakes we made vs how many philly made.

I think the Cowboys secondary impressed me the most. Sure the Eagles rang up 37 pts but it wasn't mostly due to the secondary which it would have been last season. The secondary came up big in the last two Eagles possessions and that led to the sack by Dware on McNabb and forcing the Eagles out.

But it's the Cowboys and no game is really important until the end of November/December. That's when one can really gauge the improvement of this years Cowboys team.

True. We have GOT to cut down on the penalties. Seriously, it's been ridiculous the past two weeks...

Well, what I saw that looked dirty:

The pass interference call against Henry was actually the receiver grabbing Henry's jersey and pulling him into his body to try to get the call. Maybe that was all on the receiver, but it that kind of thing reminds me of the coaching style of someone like Karl or Sloan in the NBA.

The touchdown pass to Westbrook, the blocker out on the wing was holding. Again, maybe that was on the blocker, but it looked like coaching again, could be wrong.

I say dirty, maybe just weaselly.

But when Barber went on his long 20 yard run, the tackler went after his knees instead of trying to tackle him legitimately. Didn't like that, that looked dirty to me for sure.

Granted, I hate the eagles, so it could all just be in my imagination.. LOL

Not sure if we (Cowboys fans) should accuse the Eagles of being dirty when the Cowboys had like 12 facemasks in the game (slight exaggeration, but you get the idea). That really bothered me. Seemed like it was a problem last year (and maybe previous years too), although penalties in general have always been bad.

I guess that is being more stupid/lazy than trying to "cheat" though, if you want classify it like that.

I agree with this part, it was clearly an pass interfence, but on the offense, also the holding.

Also that the referee, called and raised his hands when the eagles receiver drop the ball before enter the endzone, the ref have to notice if the ball enters the endzone, and not calling an anticipated TD, because if the referee wouldnt called a TD, the cowboys would recover the ball.

I don't root for any particular team in the NFL, but did you not see the two previous attempted tackles by the Eagles where guys tried to tackle Barber up top and were completely shrugged off by him? I hear coaches and analysts saying all the time that you have to go down low to tackle a big powerful back like Barber.
