Condit was more technical. Shots were not that effective though. But more technical nonetheless. A worthy opponent of Rush.
Diaz didn't actually do any damage. Sure Condit was backing up the whole time yet it looks like he actually landed more significant shots. If that is how Diaz is going to prepare and approach a championship bout he had no shot at GSP.
I don't think either fighter landed significant enough punches or kicks. Nothing that landed really hurt in this fight. It seemed like Carlos trivially made more connections with his tries across the fight, that's really all to me. I'm def. no expert, lol far from it, but I was a little disappointed.
Please, Diaz actually stop his prey, hunts them down, and devours them. The prey can run, but if there's no time limit, at some point the prey gets eaten. I see GSP and Condit circling the ring for five minutes. Some one got b!tch slapped this fight and started running and that ain't Nick.
After watching either of these guys they don't stand much of a chance against GSP IMO. But all Condit did was avoid is attack AND land more effective punches. Diaz was looking for a brawl but sorry, that don't work against everyone. I don't see Condit as running, if Diaz proved that then maybe he wins the fight. Condit was just playing really good defense which will win you a fight on points if the person on offense doesn't actually do anything.
