Well, they have 5 fights scheduled for a 2 hour show. They know every fight isn't going to go the limit but they have to account for that. It's not pro wrestling where they can dictate the match length. If somebody goes down in the first minute, they have to deal with it and add some filler.
You're missing the point. Imagine how upset you would be if they flooded the NFL with some Arena football league teams and then started hyping those AFL teams and crapping on everyone else. That's basically what's happening to the sport of MMA here. MMA is becoming a circus when the ultimate goal was to gain legitimacy as a mainstream sport while avoiding all the showboating BS that drove people away from boxing.
Fighting is Fighting regardless of talent level. A street fight can be just as entertaining as a UFC fight.
Last fight, there are two more before it. Kimbo is headlining which is what some of the outrage is about.
Ignorance of what? You are telling me a UFC fight is better than this ****? I've seen all of it and none of it impresses me. I'm ignorant when it comes to Pro Fighting, I don't follow it at all... but this I understand what makes sports popular. You've got to have a recognizable star out there on television or nobody gives a **** and thats the truth.
gina. they both have the same discipline. i hope they go for high kicks. Love love love that kick to the head.
When is the last time pro fighting generated a 3 (+) page thread on CFs during the fight? This fight night on CBS is like the good old days when they had pro boxing on national TV -- I think this is going to get some nice ratings and more events i'm guessing.
