I did not know a guy's fauxhawk could net him 4-5 million a year.

We should offer Odom the MLE with a 2 year opt out and force the Lakers to pay him $10 mil or so per season to keep him. We could throw in a Chinese shoe contract to get him his $10 million here.

Offer Odom the MLE and if he re-signs with LA, offer it to Villanueva.

Now that you mention it, Von's shooting % spike reminds me of his nemesis Sasha Vujacic-- great shooting year, sign big contract, immediate regret for team.

I'm astonished that no one has mentioned a big consideration when discussing signing Wafer, and what other offers he may get... his back. He has, by his own admission, a bad disc. When that came out, it cost him a LOT of money. Whether it's discussed here or not, other GMs and Morey are going to take that seriously. I think he'll be lucky to get a 3 year deal, and if he does, he's looking at Chuck money, IMO. A bad break for Von Wafer, but there you go. He's too marginal a player to take a big risk on.

wafer has probably the lowest ball IQ of any player i have ever seen. he made tons of amazingly idiotic plays in the playoffs. i don't see why some of you like him so much.
