Hehe... I usually do that too. :)

I was worried if my post proclaiming the Angels clutchness in the 8th inning would turn out to jinx them.

What a comeback by the Angels - back to back jacks.

Soriano's 2 run shot was pretty clutch though.

GO Angels!

Close games notwithstanding, this has been a terribly played series: bad pitching, piss-poor fielding, baserunning mistakes, questionable managerial decisions, and good 'ol AL-style yackball (12 HR's in 2 freaking games???).

I thought I would never say this, but I REALLY want the Yankees to beat the Angels.

Why do you ask?

1) Mike Scioscia is an idiot
2) Ben Weber is a major idiot
3) the Angels are not that good of a team, they overachieved BIG TIME

More about #2...what is it with this Weber jabroni?? He tries to look all tough and everything and does this stupid dumbass herky-jerky ****. Just pitch the ball, moron.

He has to be the most "gimmicky" player I have ever seen. I loved seeing that ball hit off his hand last night!

Guys that throw in the low/mid 90's are not "gimmicky".

He's goofy, but he's got good stuff.

Oh I know he has good stuff or else he wouldn't be pitching in the majors, but I called him "gimmicky" because I think he feels that he has to do all those goofy things to be effective. Sorta like Mark Fydrich talking to the ball.:)

If he didn't do all those things (Weber that is), he would be just another nameless unknown solid reliever.

Like you said, it's all in his head, Manny. His demeanor has no effect on the batter or the action of the pitch being thrown. He acts like a goofball because he feels it gets him mentally ready to pitch, just like Fetters, Wendell, Al Hrabosky, Lima etc.... Doesn't really bother me.

Why would the Halos "overachieving" (I disagree) make you root against them, and for the Yankees of all teams? A little bitter over yet another BoSox choke job?

I know, I don't understand that either. I've never met anyone who didn't root for a team because they were an underdog, except for cases that involve their team. Especially when it's your bitter rivals.

Just because you lack in overall talent doesn't mean you aren't a good team. Ask the 2001 Patriots. To dislike the Angels because they did so much with so little talent... I can't understand it.

It's not that hard to figure out. The Angels are in the playoffs. The Red Sox are not. Thus Manny hates the Angels. Pretty simple stuff. Back to the topic at hand, I am not concerned because Moose will probably get the next one back for my Yanks, then either Wells or the Rocket can put them away. How about that new pitch Clemens is throwing? The one Harold Reynolds dubbed the devestator. If he can get that going and finally get some high strikes called, he will be dominant.

Hydra/Stupid Moniker (why aren't you posting as Hydra anymore?) is essentially right.

And Buck, the Sox still would have choked if they made the playoffs even if they got to the World Series, so let's get that out of the way.;)

I know it is hard to fathom that I would be for the Yankees, but have any of you ever heard of reverse psychology, hmmm??

Doesn't matter because I am for the Twins-A's winner in the ALCS. If either the Yankees or Angels make the World Series, I hope they get their asses smoked.

Well, this sucks. Alex Cintron makes a boneheaded move. However, I don't know if he could have ever gotten to 3rd base before Rolen.

But things don't look good for the D-Backs.

:(
