Agreed, but I'll watch just because of the new blood. Otherwise I would have ignored it completely.

Brian Wilson sounds and looks just like that dude from The Hangover

Did anyone just see him in ESPN?!?! What did he say at the end? That was hilarious!!!

Congrats to the Giants on a MOST impressive win tonight. To go into an environment like that and play them even after your starter goes less then 3 innings is remarkable.

Giants and Rangers should be a HELL of a WS10. Sanchez didn't look as good as he has throughout the season and playoffs but CJ Wilson pitched very similar vs the Yanks. Timmy and Lee will cancel each other out so Cain vs Lewis will be the key matchup. Rangers have not seen this kind of pitching 1-4 while the Giants will be tested by the Rangers offense.

SF in 7...best WS in years.

I agree. While this may be one of the lowest rated WS, its going to be a really entertaining one. I'm leaning towards Rangers in 7.

Barry Bonds is rolling over in his grave!

Two perennial underdogs, in the WS. Wow.

Even though I'm a Dodgers fan, I am simply happy to see a Californian team in the WS--especially a team from a city that is in my belief one of the most beautiful American cities!

To hell with rivalries, go Giants!

Definitely looks like a great Series!

I'm done trying to predict this, though. Baseball is way too unpredictable.

I dont know if the Giants will have enough offense to stay with Texas. I guess this will perhaps prove the theory "Good pitching beats good hitting". :p That's the theory isn't it?

Anyhow, Giants get out of early trouble.

I didn't think the Giants would have enough offense to stay with the Phillies but they found a way to get big hits in key moments.

True. Guess we'll have to see?! No easy out in the Texas lineup and just thinking, if Texas puts up a big spot in an inning, can or will the Giants do the same? Can/will they respond offensively? Again, not sure they can, but I guess never say never.

And just a sidenote: why does Bengie Molina get a ring no matter what? Yeah I know he played for them and is now on the Rangers but is he still on the Giants payroll or something? What am I missing?

So far I'm getting this weird 2005 vibe...the Giants are acting a lot like the White Sox did against the Astros...pesky buggers finding ways to out-clutch the Rangers. After the post-season Cliff Lee has had so far, you wouldn't think they would put up 3 runs in 5 innings off him.

Yep, same thing I was thinking.

Freddy Sanchez is quickly becoming the Rangers Joe Crede.
