Perhaps Manuel is finally reaching the end phases of senility. There's not much else for an explanation for last nights excuse for managing.

Okay, did anyone just see the 7th inning rendition of God Bless America at the NLCS in San Francisco?

    That was amazing!

Just like Cliff Lee, Werth will get paid this off-season. Don't know why Philly wants to get rid of him, and yes I have heard of Brown

I think they feel Brown can fill in his spot just fine and not charge them 10million+ a year.

So the Doctor beats the Freak.

Awesome that both these series have a potential to go to game 7.

    Lets go Phils/Yanks!

They do want him, but they already have a very high payroll and don't want to pay him a ridiculous salary.

Pretty much and as clutch as Werth has been, his overall numbers where very up and down this season. He will get 100 million this offseason but not sure if he truly deserves it but then again Caballo got him self a 100 million dollar deal so maybe he does in comparison.

Halladay didn't have his best stuff last night but he battled and refused to let down in a true must win. Phillies needed a win like this to get their mojo back and i'd make them the fav to win the series even being down 3-2 going back home with the momentum. Saying that, they do say in baseball, momentum is as good as the next day's starting pitcher...so we shall see.

Colby Lewis might be wanting to go pitch back in Asia after the Yankees destroy him.

He knows he got hit, would be refreshing to see a player in a situation like that tell the ump, even though it was in my favor, you got it wrong.

Rangers getting screwed by the Ump. Selig called it in to force game 7. ;)

Hard for me to root for the Yankees but only because I want to see Berkman advance.

The difference is the Rangers pitchers are making good pitches and the Yankee pitchers haven't been able to locate their fastballs all series.
