If Hamilton has turned it on, Yanks better start getting their FAgent list together because their season is OVER.
Yea, that's true. And Wilson has absolutely been great this season - probably not as good as Cain even factoring in leagues but that's hard to say. I'd still want Cain on my side if I had the choice but either one could perform better given their recent performances. My bigger point here was to question that one poster's assessment that "the Giants don't stand a chance against the Rangers." On paper, everything considered, I'd actually slightly, or even significantly, lean toward the Giants in that matchup.
So much for that BS statistic that showed the Yankees outscoring their opponents after the 7th inning...lol. DD
I am VERY impressed with the Rangers, they have rebounded incredibly after the heartbreaking game 1 loss. I mean, they aren't just beating the Yanks they are beating them into submission.
Not only that but if they can close it out tomorrow, they will be able to set their rotation and truly feel nothing from that loss, unlike Lidge-Pujols. It would actually kind of be a positive in terms of confidence after rebounding from it.
As an Indians fan, I've seen CC suck it up big time in that situation. He's been very up and down in his postseason career with lots of bad. I'd say there's no telling what you get. He's not yet a postseason ace by any means.
Yea, their confidence has to be sky high. I will never count out the Yanks but it's going to be a tough road back. I will say, if they can take it to a 7th game ,while they have to face Lee, it would come in Arlington where Lee has had some issues. Grasping for straws but they're in a desperate state.
Yea I remember watching Boston comeback against the Indians in 07. Carmona and Sabathia were doing a massive choke job in that series.
