Gotta be careful here. Huff can turn on a pitch with the best of 'em.

    I hope Huff gets owned.

I remember him being the culprit of why I was pissed off on opening day.

    Phew!

Fearless Roy said go ahead and hit it. Huff did but right at Victorino.

Its nice to see Oswalt finally get some long deserved recognition ever since the 05 season.

This has been one of the better baseball seasons as an Astros fan in recent years.

    Roy O's final line: 8 IP, 3 H, 1 ER, 3 BB, 9 K

    Also 1 H, 1 R and 1 RTASSIACGS.

    * RTASSIACGS = running through a stop sign in a crucial game situation.

It's a real stat. Go to Baseball Reference if you don't believe me.

Nice play by Ibanez. He's been known to muff some of those.

    Hah!

He's still causing a little fret. Lucky Ibanez made that catch or things would've gotten a little more tense.

I would've liked to see Roy go the distance but walking Panda then leaving that pitch up to Sanchez killed that possibility.

Hah @ Rollins' comment about Roy's baserunning (paraphrasing): "Hah! He's got those stiff hips... looked like a cardboard figure runnin' down the line."

Andy Pettite goes 7 strong 1 earned run.
Cliff Lee struggles 6 innings giving up 4.

Dammit why is that scrub Thames in. Unleash the Puma.

YANKEES WIN (Can't believe i'm cheering for the Yanks....)

I know you aren't a Yankee fan because you called Thames a scrub. You may think you are, but if you really were you'd know that Thames has been huge for the Yankees this year against left handed pitching and that Berkman is crap against lefties.

Rangers with an early statement, they have pretty much controlled this series minus one inning. If the rally and win this series after game 1 it would be one hell of a comeback.

I'm pretty sure he's an Astros fan pulling for Puma but you obviously know your Yankees. Thames has been money against LHP and Puma is having a career-worst season overall and particularly from that side.
