The Reds starting to look defeated.

The heart of their order will get at least one more crack at it.

Maybe Votto can pull off some magic.

I know the Reds killed themselves in game 2 but the other two games where complete domination. Philly pitching is DYNAMIC right now.

    Hamels sounds like he's 8-years-old.

He makes Richard Jefferson sound like Barry White.

It was a smart move starting Hamels at Cincy opposed to home .

True... just a random observation. He sounds funny. And I meant Barry White.

I hope Roy O. doesn't suck next time out.

I wanted both he and Lance to have at least one impact performance in the postseason.

Lance did his part after not doing much in the regular season.

If nothing else, Roy was epic good in the regular season and played a big role in the Phillies being able to finish off the season comfortably and rest/set up their rotation for the playoffs.

Just saw the highlights for the Braves-Giants game, feel bad for Conrad. Not his fault Prado and Chipper got hurt. I hate the Braves thought so I don't really care :p

think giants need to advance for any shot of the phillies to lose. that and it would be a hell of a pitching series. halladay, oswalt, hammels vs lincecum, cain, sanchez

yeah it was really hard to watch

The Reds have good hitters... very good hitters... to see them get totally wiped in those two games was disheartening.

If the Philly's pitchers can keep this up.. they are going to win the whole thing.

Looks like Oswalt's happy where he is:

Funniest thing I've seen all day! The best part is that it looks almost as if he's continuing down the stairs and another Oswalt shows up.

That's awesome. Dude rarely shows much personality. He must be really happy.

    Love the guy. No homo.

Some people got down on him over the last year and a half but I think part of that was fueled by the media running with snippets of information.

Every time Oswalt spoke for himself, one of the first things he said is that any deal made had to be good for Houston. He knew that it was best for both him and the Astros that he move on. And while some saw it as disloyalty, I think it's a credit to him that he wants to win that badly. He was set financially either way. Not all players have that same compete level.

He also pointed out on multiple occasions how some of the stuff being reported was inaccurate, particularly right around this past deadline, but also going back to last season.
