Wainwright was rocking the socks, and his pitching mirrored that awesomeness.

Props to that 40 year old madman.

Didn't he close the game for the 06 World Series? Man, it feels like yesterday

    As a rookie, right?

I don't think he's ever going to stop pitching.

Man, he was around during the Pujols/Edmonds/Rolen era. Crazy to think about.

I remember going to the last NL game here at MMP, was against the Cardinals. I will never forget the 4 Hank Hill type guys sitting in front of me cheering for the Co-ardinals. Hella annoying

2006, 24 years old, rookie year (75 IP in the regular season), he pitched 3+ innings in each of the NLDS/NLCS/WS: 9.2IP, 7H, 2BB, 15K, zero runs, 4 saves

He definitely announced his presence with authority

Yeah, that's it. The pitchers aren't any good or anything.

What? Joe West couldn't see that from home plate? He was able to see the "fan interference" in 2018!

Win or lose, the camera pans to the freaked out Dodger fans in the crowd have been well worth it tonight.

Once LaRussa left I have nothing against the Cards. They hate the Cubs more than I do, which is saying something.

They were my first favorite non-Astro team, 1985 World Series vs the KC Royals.

If either of those dudes are at bat in the 9th, Cards deserve to lose

Even with the Nats finishing 5th, we still can’t escape Juan Soto
