I’m not a professional baseball player, but if someone whistled as the ball is about to be thrown to let me know what was coming, it would completely and utterly screw me up. My thoughts would race wildly and before I knew it the ball would be in the catcher’s glove. I guess this **** will never end.

And furthermor, who do you think is whistling? Ever seen anyone whistle? Sounds like a finger whistle to me, as much as anyone is watching/checking for cheating now - surely someone would see anyone put two fingers in their mouth and rip a whistle over that stadium noise. Okay I’m done.

Hot streaks don't last long so I'd go with the Braves who have been on one.

I couldn't imagine hitting an ephus pitch if the pitcher was trying to get me a hit and told me exactly where he was throwing it. Now reacting to a pitch in flight is twilight zone stuff.

I want the Braves even though Morton might own us again.

BTW, if the Braves do pull it off. Morton would have gone to the world series with three different successive teams. That's like Robert Horry level.

While this is a little jinxy, I can't help but think of this in an Astros-tinted light. I'm very torn on whether I want the Braves to finish the Dodgers off tonight, hope for the Dodgers to win tonight to extend the series and throw off rotations for the WS, or outright just let that series go the full 7 and whoever wins wins. The Dodgers are clearly the scarier team on paper, but they are pretty banged up. I don't know man. I'm just hoping for the Astros to close this **** out tomorrow night.

This is just so f*cking pathetic. Do these morons not know that MLB now has a rep in EVERY dugout and has since 2019?

I'm not a professional baseball hitter either but I play MLB The Show. If I knew where the ball was going to be it would help me immensely

The only thing better than a Braves victory tonight would be for Kelly to be the reason the Dodgers lost.

Don't let him out of the first inning.

A few line drives about waist high right up the middle would be a bonus :)

Don't you know.... the Astros hired a person to pose as a Boston fan at Fenway with a long zoom lens from HR territory and a bullhorn.
