I think they should poll the 8 fans that come to every game for opinions.

Same font as the Giants. Seems like someone had a color wheel out and matched up complimentary colors and thought the logo was good to go. That's atrocious.

Miami Marlins? Why are they changing the name?

Because in Back to the Future II, it was "Miami" in the World Series, not "Florida".

I have to go trademark a comic book idea. "Solving crimes in a stylish yet completely masculine manner, it's the..."

I'm probably the only person on earth that likes it. I think the color scheme was chosen to mimic the Dolphins. It also looks a bit art deco-ish. I think there is a real tribute to something, but I can't put my finger on it. Maybe the old Miami Metrorail logo or something.

It also reminds me of the old school Astros or Denver Nuggets logos for some reason.

My first though was that they were trying to incorporate some of the neon nightlife colors you see on South Beach but that's not it. The colors don't match, nor do they with the Dolphins colors. Also, it would seem odd for them to suddenly adopt Dolphins colors just as they stopped playing in Dolphins . . . err . . . Joe Robbie . . . err . . . Pro Player . . . err . . . Landshark . . . err . . . Sun Life Stadium.

Its got a Miami party look to it...
I mean the old logo appealed to fishing, come on-- who likes to fish anyway?
This has more of a modern-"Let's party in Miami" feel.

I still think it sucks though... Timeless > Trendy

It just hit me, the font almost matches the Welcome to Miami Beach sign. I guess that's what I was thinking of.

I think its fine...the colors are very "south Florida"...Im not necessarily a big fan of the colors, but I dont think its horrible. As far as the logo though, I like it. I think if they had a better color scheme then it would be very well done.

It's also where the Indians were going to move if Arnie Becker and The Substitute didn't win the pennant.
