The Octomom's physician is in the same state... California needs to shore up its fertility evaluation process.
I don't know if this is true, but I read on another site that steroid users take his drug to prevent...ahem...shrinkage .
Here, here, Manny! Take that lump (or lumps) for the team! A-Rod shouldn't be the only one forced by our patriarchy to wear the Scarlet Cleavage of "B**** T**s." MLB players, one and all: don't let A-Rod & Manny take the fall for our gender's inability to conceive. Follow their leads: estrogen hormone therapy and gynecomastia for all, I say! It's time we stood up to our own oppression, and protest this injustice. Burn those bras, gentlemen.
If this is indeed a baseball performance enhancer then i'm very disappointed in Manny. If otherwise, I hope the league makes their rulings accordingly.
It apparently works as an agent to "restart" the testerone process after coming off a steroid cycle. As I understand it, while it in and of itself it is not a PED, it is used in conjunction with PEDs.
In and of itself it is a minor PED as it does increase testosterone production. However, after doing more research on it, its primary function is in fact to prevent the boys from shriveling while using steroids. Also, it is actually supposed to be used while ON cycle. Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) is a peptide hormone that mimics the action of luteinizing hormone (LH). LH is the hormone that stimulates the testes to produce testosterone. (1) More specifically LH is the primary signal sent from the pituitary to the testes, which stimulates the leydig cells within the testes to produce testosterone. https://www.primordialperformance.com/store/hcg-article.html
Your bits and pieces (AKA "junk") is just a factory or testosterone. The way it knows to make more or less is the supply of HCG it gets. When you give it way more HCG it makes way more testosterone. Roid users use it to get the factory back to working after shrinking them on cycles, but it would also work on its own to increase performance.
Which is more plausible, Ramirez using hCG as a Viagra substitute (cause, y'know, that stuff's difficult to get), or Tyler Hamilton accidentally ingesting steroids in an "herbal antidepressant?" 'Cause neither of these guys would ever use steroids for the same reasons everybody else uses them, right?
Crazy, eh? Read the article below about what happened with Mitchell's r****ded red sox team, and say that again. The Mitchell report was the biggest freaking witch hunt ever. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/090507&sportCat=mlb
