if anyone doubts what caminetti said about all the players doing roids and amphetemines they are crazy.
another thing: this shows MLB is dealing with this. they may be a decade or so late...but it shows that no one is above the rules and they're serious about this testing.
There was no cover up, Fatty is crazy. Mitchell was just only able to get one (might have been two) sources and they both happened to be former New York guys. No one else would talk to him because no one else had the feds on their throat. A-Rod skated by that report because his supplier wasn't one of those guys. I know most people didn't read the Mitchell Report and I know even fewer actually care about anything other than "OMG SO AND SO WAS A UZER!" but the report actually did reveal some information about the Red Sox front office knowing about steroid use in players and discussing it with their scouts.
Wait, ESPN's top story is that Manny got busted for PED's? Darn! Tell them I'm pregnant! Signed, Brett Favre
No they are not. Do you believe steroids (or PEDs in general) are more prevalent in baseball or football?
In an update, Manny consulted with the Player's Union and waived his right to appeal. He knows he got busted and was in the wrong.
i think most baseball fans are done with the steroids stuff. i dont think any big name players surprises anyone anymore, and its time to just move on. HGH is probably widely used anyways.
no they're not...this steroid crap and all the fallout from it has been high for quite some time....meanwhile, mlb has enjoyed record attendance and its highest revenues...revenues on par with NFL
ya that tirade on sportscenter was just him complaining. didnt even add anything insightful...just going off about how hes now ruined dodgers baseball...give me a break
I really can't believe his defense. As though he would just take a prescribed drug without checking to see if it was against the league drug policy. What a bunch of bull.
All those guys are cheaters. I bet Glen Davis and Billy Hatcher were better than every player in the roid era. At least they didn't cheat.
