    Do not end this game. I will not like a tie after all this time watching. Even if it means if Lidge screws it up for the NL.

    he loaded up the bases with no errors by his defense. It was all on him and he choked again.

    I don't know how far south his pitching is going to go in the 2nd half but watch out.

    Sucks for Lidge, I was rooting for him an the NL. Miggy put on a great game though!

    LOL. Yeah, the 1.12 ERA and 20-for-20 in save opportunities in, you know, actual games means nothing compared to giving up one run in an exhibition. You guys are a riot.

    By the way, Morneau was clearly out at the plate -- the tip of his foot (the only part that beat McCann's glove to the plate) was in the air the whole time, and McCann clearly tagged him before the heel touched the plate. I understand why the home plate umpire made the call -- another tie would've been bad for PR reasons -- but it's stupid that the NL has to lose on what was a pretty clear third out.
