Spoken like a true LBJ fan.......

    LBJ
    Stats - Check
    Physical body - Check
    Age - Check
    Cool Nickname - Check
    Accolades - Check
    Balls- Missing
    Excuses - Plenty of them
Fans - Helps with the Excuses
    Quitter - Accused
Loyalty - none what so ever
X-Factor - Requires 2 super friends to win it

Analysis complete LBJ represents Aquaman. The kewl guy who can talk to fishes and can swim really fast and look good doing it. But to standout, he has to join the Superfriends so he can finally make it big.

I can see him still getting his numbers...but the rings is what i also think he'll be lacking...if this was done a few yrs ago it would be different, but like you said with wade being older, Mike miller being older, Big z being old, etc. there's going to be significant changes being made to the supporting cast almost every year. Wade may leave in the middle of all that, so there's just too much change going on for the team to get on a roll and win several consecutive championships. I'd say he gets 4 at most, probably only 3.

LOL really funny because your hero Kobe Bryant wins with scrubs....right? If LBJ is Aquaman, Kobe is Sharkboy.

Dwade wants to win. As do James. Winning comes first, the legacy will follow. LBJ and Wade have something MJ and Pippen, Shaq and Kobe, Kobe and Gasol don't have: close friendship. They're BFFs I'm sure they'll find a way to inflate both of their stats and win at the same time.

Moral of the story is people are stupid and let first/last impressions color their entire perception of players. If you think one shot to ice the game is more important than 25 pts, 7 rebs, 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 block than you obviously don't know basketball. Its the same reasoning why people gave Pierce the finals MVP, when KG was the one who really held that team up.

Did you just say Bill Russell had non-overwhelming stats compared to Lebron?

Career Average: 15.1ppg/22.5rpg/4.3apg(yes he averaged 4.3 assists AS A CENTER)

    5 MVPs
    12 All-Stars
    12 1st or 2nd All-NBA
Too bad they didn't have DPOY back then, or I can add probably 10+ DPOY awards to the above list.
No doubt best player on those Boston championship teams, whereas Lebron cannot make the same distinction on this Miami team.

Kobe had 30/6.9/5.9 in 03 and was no where close to win MVP voting. It wasn't even his team although Shaq was busy healing company injury in company time.

I wonder what LeBron's projected 25/7/4 will lead to.

And this is based on what? Dwade's championship ring? I guess Adam Morrison is better than Charles Barkley, Gary Payton, Karl Malone and Reggie Miller too, right?

    Dwade's Career stats: 25.4 pts, 4.9 rebs, 6.6 assists, 0.571 TS%, 24 PER

    LBJ's career stats: 27.8 pts, 7 rebs, 7 assists, 0.562 TS%, 26.9 PER

Pretty close, but LBJ's better in almost every single category statistically.

I said Russell was clearly the heart and soul of those Celtics teams. And your comeback is that LBJ is slightly better than Wade? Not sure if you're trying to disagree with me or making my point here.

Although it seems you're disagreeing with me by comparing Russell to Morrison. If you think that lightly of a 5 times MVP player, then we'll have to vehemently agree to disagree on this point.

Of course it wasn't his team, during the playoffs Shaq 27 and 14! Shaq also had a higher PER, TS% and Winshares than kobe during the playoffs.

Also the 30 PPG of Bryant during that season was misleading because he played almost 4 mins longer than Shaq a night. If you scale down Kobe's PT to equal Shaq's per 36 mins they will have the same ppg.

As for Lebron I don't think his stats will fall that drastically. Afterall LBJ will still be getting a ton of PT on that team. To go from 29/ 7.3/8.6 to 25/7/4? Way too big a drop.

And even if LBJ's stats drop, he won't be the only one. If his stats drop to 25/7/4 expect Wades stats to drop as well.

Your quote was "No doubt best player on those Boston championship teams, whereas Lebron cannot make the same distinction on this Miami team".

I was saying LBJ is already the best player on the Miami Heat. The only thing Wade has on him is his ring. l

The first year MJ's Bulls got past the first round, Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant were both rookies averaging 8 points per game playing about 20 minutes a night. MJ didn't need their help to win a playoff series. He did need them to develop to eventually win championships.

That team was also missing Sean Elliott (their second best player). Oh yeah, they also tanked to get Tim Duncan.

The same Doc Rivers who had previously been a Coach of the Year winner in Orlando? He's a good coach. His main problem is that he can't seem to decide on a rotation. That actually hasn't changed in the last few years, he's just had enough talent to win anyway.
