    Ummm...the Spurs have won quite often. Romney is the Buffalo Bills. Yeah, he gets to the championship game though a weak conference, but he's going to get destroyed in the end.

    Except that's not actually what he said. If you read his post, everything he said was in the present/future tense - that this is what the current GOP does or will do; not that it always was that way. That's also debatable, but your historical data from 50 years ago really has nothing to do with what he claimed.
