Since the report will be released to the public tomorrow at 1:00pm, this would be a good time to discuss whose name you want to see listed. Best case: Curt Schilling Worst case: Craig Biggio/Jeff Bagwell I do predict the worst case on this forum will be heavily weighted towards Astros.
I really don't wish to see anyone in particular on this report. The one name I don't want to see is Oswalt.
I'd like to see the following: Chipper Jones Gred Maddux Walt Weiss Tom Glavine John Smoltz Sterling Hitchcock Kevin Brown Albert Pujols Jim Edmonds perhaps that list is a little biased I'd like to see these.... Alex Rodriguez Derek Jeter and any other Yankee from the last decade.
Best case: I've always suspected that Randy Johnson juiced, so I guess it'd be nice to see confirmation of that. Nothing against him personally, but with his outbursts and marked decline, I just assumed. Worst case: Biggio, Bagwell, Gonzo
I wonder what is the point of this report? From what I have heard, there is going to be like anywhere from 60 to 80 people on it. Are they going to suspend all of them for 15 games??
People I wouldn't be surprised to see... Eric Gagne Pudge Rodriguez Todd Helton Jeff Bagwell Roger Clemens Hopefully Tejada isn't on that list
Someone said the ballclubs got a copy of the report a day or two ago. I hope that is the case so that the Astros knew what they were doing when they made this trade.
A ton of Yankees and Cardinals players on the list would make me happy. Anyone from the Astros would make me sad.
Bagwell will be on the list. Bank on it. I'd love to see Schilling on it. Clemens too. The bigger question is...will this report rip professional baseball apart, or will baseball fans give it a collective yawn?
I don't hope to see anyone on it personally and I find it despicable that some people would actually hope to see people ruined in public because of a team they play for. But as usual, fans forget that players are human beings and think of them only as fantasy statistics and uniform colors.
Mitchell needs to stop drumming up interest and just publish the damn thing. Doesn't baseball realize that the Mitchell investigation is just a dark cloud over the whole offseason? It's definitely a good thing to shed light on steroids, but it seems like the report has been done for a while now and everything after was just hype.
I really don' care. I don't have a problem with steroid use. If youre not cheating, youre not trying. Or something like that.
not Tejada. I think it would suck to see Rocket's or Baggy's name on the list...but i guess its possible.
depends on the penalties handed out.....it could be a "scab" league for the first 50 games if the ***** really hits the fan
