Holy calves! There are meatsticks who would give up their entire worthless existence to get half of that definition. Other than those NBA legs everything looks in check and then some. The kind of gal who would latch on and not let go until something breaks. Whether that’s good or great remains to be seen. But she definitely has got a booty like the Energizer Bunny. I don’t know if that makes any sense but it fits. A bend her over a barrel and show her the 50 states, if you will.

Related: Not big on girls working out, but I will never be able to settle down with someone who runs awkwardly. For breeding and personal purposes. Totally hypocritical since I gallop like a pregnant giraffe in slow motion, but you can tell a lot about someone from their stride. That is all.

So you basically don't meet your own standards for women?

Are bowlers athletes? Curlers? Chess players? Sport fishermen? Auto racers?

No, no, no, no and no f***ing way.

She is though. Being an athlete does not require her activity being a sport.

I agree. You don't have to be playing a sport to be an athlete. I'd put sports into some larger category of athletics, and all participants in that larger category are athletes. We just don't have a great term for people who are only in sports (sportsman?). We also seem to have a lot of vaguaries around what people will and won't call a sport. I prefer a small tent that includes athletic competitions that are quantifiable and require compliance with a lot of artificial rules, and excludes simple competitions that try to determine who is the fastest/strongest/whatever (like track) and competitions with qualitative determinations of the winner (like dance). But track runners and dancers are both definitely competitive athletes.
