Apparently they are sending out cancellation emails now... oh well. http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=391402&t=1501141
I think the whole point of buying 6 is so that they can sell them for 2,000 each or whatever the retail is
Yay! Hook me up, too, theogcasey! I wonder if his name is really "Theodore Gonzales Casey." I know the "g" stands for Gonzales.
My co-workers and I went to the best buy on richmond ave and the 610 loop by the galleria and Emily Aiken was there from Fox 26. She interviewed all my co-workers about the tv, lol. It was great. They gave their phone numbers in case......
Well. They are not honoring the $10 deal. BUT, If you were one of the first 200 people to buy it. You will get it for $210, which is still a sweet ass deal.
no shiet?! lol, top local news today i would guess.. i first heard about it this morning on sr610 driving in to work..
you're right, but your legal analysis is wrong. the advertisement here would be an offer from Best Buy, not an invitation to consumers to make their offers. where a merchant has an advertisement for a product with a defined price and quantity and the price is advertised as being good only for a certain period of time, the advertisement is an offer. however, where there's a mistake on the part of one of the parties, it's a material mistake, and the other party knows or has reason to know that the first party is mistaken, then the first party may rescind the deal.
It's not in the store, I don't think they make mistakes in store... online prices can easily be mistaken because of typos and such.
Something like this happened a while back when Wal-Mart.com advertised a Smash Brothers Wii game for like 15 dollars. A bunch of us ordered the item and they ended up cancelling it, but they did issue $10 online gift cards for the ****-up.
Everybody read your cancelation emails. I ordered 3 last night however only got TWO cancelation emails, each stating a quantity of ONE. There is still hope!
i haven't recieved a cancelation email....i did receive an email that welcomed me to the wonderful world of hdtv
