Edited. Just a slip on my part... I meant lost, since their loss tied them with us.

It's not been the best night ... I still can't believe Mark Madsen shot 7 three-pointers in two overtime periods when he had put up 9 total in a 6-year career.

Are you kidding me? Wow, I didn't realize it was that ridiculous.

You've gotta give those Tankerwolves some props though. They took the Grizzlies to overtime so its difficult to accuse them of straight up tanking. Taking a team to overtime, then seemingly losing on purpose, in the midst of tanking accusations---brilliant.

The interesting thing about the draft order now is if Seatle holds on and wins The ROckets will be tied with the Warriors for the 8th position. Even assuming we lose the coin toss and end up with the 9th pick I dont know if it'll will affect the Rockets pick all that much.

Of course I'm assuming the Rockets are looking to draft a SG or SF or PG. The warriors are set at the one, two and three with Richardson, Pietrus, Dunleavey, BDavis, DFisher & Monte Ellis. All of whom w/the exception of Pietrusare are tied to long term contracts. More than Likely the Warriors will be looking to fill their need for a front court player with defensive, rebounding and toughness to complement Murphy, Folye, Bedrins and Diogu.

Furthermore Rumor has it Murphy will be the most likely Warrior to be dealt this summer as he is no longer counted as a base year player and has good value despite a big contract.

Absolutely hysterical tonight to watch these teams. Makes you wonder about Rafer at the line there.

looks like the 8-9th pick for the rockets.

i would probably think really really hard about giving up next years 1st round pick and this years for the 4-5th pick and maybe get roy or morrison...

    is that good or bad?

Personally I'd love to be able to pick 21 year old Karl Malone this year at #9.

Of course after a great first half of the year demonstrating to the league how great he is... and that he is indeed Karla malone. I'll trade him along with Howard to Utah for Kirilenko and their #1 pick. :D

Shelden Williams would be a wonderful compliment to Yao at the 8/9th pick.

I like Shelden Williams but I think he will be gone by the 7th pick.

please just say no to Shelden WIllaims or any other DOOKIES plz!!!

If CD does want Williams, Hopefully we lose the flip get the 9th and GS ends up taking Williams leaving us, Roy, Foye, Brewer or Carney.

Tell you the truth I have no idea who is gonna have the better nba carreer outta those four, But I know I dont want a DOOKIE!!

Williams is ok, but we already have two so so pf, we dont need another.

LOL I think those are quite FINAL lottery standings as all those teams have 1 more loss each except for Boston.

Don't take my sarcasm as being combative - I'm only trying to show how the logic of intentionally losing is flawed. You forget that Golden State won four in a row - why? Why would they do that when they had the 6th spot in the draft locked up? Now they may end up 9th.

I'm just saying look at things from all these teams perspectives. All of them, Minnesota, Boston, Golden State, Houston, Seattle, Orlando - tried to win games instead of going for draft picks.

You know something - to me, it's comforting to know that sportsmanship still exists in the NBA to some degree.
