2020 Paul is better than 2019 Paul. You people don’t even think or even look at the reality around you. Chris Paul got a year older and got better actually. Westbrook is getting worse every year.

You people are so delusional you believe the exact opposite of what is true. It’s not even up to me. No stat is saying WB is even close to Paul at this point, let alone way better. Holy **** this place is like a cult.

Paul and Harden’s relationship seems to be over no matter what happens on the court the other part of the day wasn’t work well anymore. Something had to happen.

Paul learned he enjoys playing basketball his way more than he enjoys playing basketball after his two-year partnership in Houston with James Harden, which dissolved during their second season together. Paul equates “point guard” with an orchestra conductor, so watching Harden continuously dribble and meticulously pick apart defenses wasn’t easy.

It’s impossible to not think about that when he talks about the reasons why he’s happy with Oklahoma City, reasons that extend beyond being a big brother to the Thunder’s young players.

“I don’t look at myself as just a mentor to the guys. I hoop, you know what I mean? I think that’s the biggest thing too. I’m playing at the same time,” Paul said. “I’m not at that point of my career. I’m going to hoop always, but it’s also understanding the privilege of getting to play. That’s the thing. I love to hoop.”

You dont need to imagine, that was the team before 2017-2018 season.

You remember, the season that Rockets were eliminated by Spurs because no other player could spell/support Harden when he got tired of carrying the entire team.

That was the team that could not contend/push GSW. That was the team BEFORE Rockets became the undisputed 2nd best team in NBA.

Everybody is expecting Paul to fall off a cliff.

BUT, what if CP3 remains solid due to his immense skill, competitive drive and elite BBIQ like Nash, Stockton, and Kidd?

What if WB is the one who falls off a cliff? How well do unskilled, low IQ all athleticism players fair after 31?

CP3's contract is a year shorter, he's MUCH better this season which is most important since we are trying to win NOW.... and we could have kept all of our picks for an upgrade elsewhere.

Diiiiiii Zaster of a deal, Morey and us Rocket fans got fuked clean by Tilly and James wanting WestBrick.

The combo of Beverly and Harden ran its course. Beverly only works well with a stacked team like he's on now. Montrez I think was underused cuz of Mike and Lou can't b efficient on a team with EG

If you’re looking at box score counting stats, then sure.

If you’re looking at team performance and team success and value the importance of basketball IQ, then no, not really.

CP3 is miles better than Westbrook and his B-ball IQ will keep that gap expanding as Russ loses his athleticism. We have seen a lessor version of Russ in Steve Francis, this will be like falling off a cliff.
