Actually ur not crazy I agree with you but the only problem I see with this is that it will not work out NOW but if Mutumbo was in his early or mid 30s I would've liked this line-up and like I said not anymore it too late for that!

what about the bulls?? they have a couple of expendable guys on their roster. After the pj brown and ben wallace acquisitions, maybe mike sweetney or malik allen would be available?? they would fit the mold of what the rockets need. A tall PF/C type that can rebound and play defense. what do yall think?

I seem to remember reading something about the Bulls looking to get rid of Luol Deng. He wouldn't solve our problem of filling the position at power forward, but he is a nice asset for a team to have. Perhaps the Rockets could arrange some kind of a package, Head & Juwan for Deng & Schenscher, or something to that effect. What do you guys think?

Neither Yao or Mutumbo can guard a mobile player like Duncan, Amare, etc. Most PF's are much more mobile than centers. Deke covering a PF is a disaster waiting to happen.

Besides, we need a PF that has SOME offensive game otherwise Yao takes on an additional burden with double teams.

EDIT: Yao does a decent job but only in the low block. He faulters when he needs to move around a lot.

Here comes the reoccurring post about a "true power forward" We need to give up on this. There is no one out there available. And like I have seen on multiple post even when the best PF in the west match up they still cannot shut each other down. It's time to get realistic and realize we have what we have. I think we will be just fine with what we have and I DON'T want to see a Luther Head + etc etc trade posted anymore! Deke and Yao on the floor together! geez.....

Well, Matt Haryasz looked pretty good last night.

I was somewhat impressed with Matt Haryasz also. Needs development, but I think he will do good on the bench..

To be perfectly honest, I could care less about another power forward. I'm just not a big of Juwan Howard while, at the same time, I'm a big fan of Luol Deng.
