I miss Rick Adelman. I MISS RICK's beautiful offense!!! Putting all eggs on Harden makes others just watch him ISO and don't know what to do. Totally wasting Jeremy, Chandler and Asik's passing talents!!
This is your first time posting and felt compelled to start your own thread. Most people read first and reply to threads before starting threads right away. If everyone does the same as you, there would be 1000 more threads per month for each new poster. Thinking about it. There are about 134 current threads about this very topic that you could have posted in. People! Starting threads is not like posting your Facebook or Tweeter status.
Lol. Don't you think it was the same with Rick? His go-to response to reporters was, "We didn't have ball movement." I frankly hope people would stop starting threads after every loss. we still have, let's see, 78(!!!!) games left.
Remember all the "Why didn't Rick play guy XY ", "why didn't he call a timeout? " or "wtf did he do in the last minutes "? People have such short memory.
You don't know what you got till its gone The Houston Rockets brought in Rick Adelman as their new head coach, five days after the dismissal of Jeff Van Gundy, on May 18, 2007. Van Gundy had taken the Rockets to three playoff appearances in four years with no series wins. In his first season as head coach, Adelman guided the Rockets to a 22-game winning streak from January through March 2008, the second-longest winning streak in NBA history. In the 2009 season, the Rockets finished 5th in the West with a 53–29 record. They entered the playoffs without their star shooting guard, Tracy McGrady, due to an injury. Despite this loss, the Rockets defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in six games to advance to the Western Conference Semifinals for the first time since 1997. However, they lost to the Los Angeles Lakers, but surprised many people and proved their resilience by taking the series to seven games even though their star center, Yao Ming, had a season-ending injury in Game 3 of that series. Adelman won his 800th career game, 13th among coaches in NBA history, on March 24, 2008 against his old team the Sacramento Kings.[4] On April 18, 2011, Houston Chronicle reported that the Houston Rockets would not give Adelman a new contract, and would part ways after 4 seasons <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/7GG9r1RcEcM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/KXyIATWaydE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/dwhaW2nVVcg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
How many rings does McHale have as a coach? How many rings does Tom Thibodeau have as a HC? How many did LeBron have before last year?
I miss all the movement of the corner offense. I miss any movement in our offense. Great, now I miss Yao. And what ever happened to Bel Biv Devoe?
