There was a lot of speculation about Iverson at the end of last season, so Denver trading Iverson isn't hard to believe.

On the other hand, Houston finding a way to get him w/out moving T-Mac or Yao is hard to believe.

Except that in Boston's case, it was potentially three shining moments since they had all of their Big 3 for at least three years.

Who knows though, maybe a trade to get Iverson, and then you trade him for someone else?

Morey is a genius, let's see what he has up his sleeves.

Rockets can't trade Battier. Morey is building the team around him.

Agreed we can not, for any reason (especially after Gay debacle) trade Battier. But to say we are building the team around HIM specifically? Hard to see sarcasm in a forum, but I hope you are kidding.

    100% sarcasm.

But I'd forgive Morey if he deals Battier for James Harden this draft.

Actually, freeing up Alston and Jackson gives Francis more opportunities at the guard spot. Of course, thats if hes good enough to take those minutes.

Hmm, I call BS to this one. Would love to see it happen, but it's too good to be true.

    Francis/Brooks
    AI/Barry/Harris?
    Mcgrady/Greene/Novak or Leunen?
    Scola/Landry/Hayes?
    Yao/Dorsey/Deke?

If Francis can comeback healthy that is one sick lineup. If Brooks starts that is no doubt the quickest backcourt EVER. We lose a lot of depth in trading 2 starters but man we talkin about AI. We talkin about AI. Definitely not a scrub or a minor upgrade oro a hopeful 3rd option... We talkin bout AI former MVP... the ultimate legit 1st, 2nd and or 3rd scorer that can create his own shot and create for others. The ultimate hustler full of heart that wants to win it all. We talkin about AI. It's too good to be true.

AI would bring a LOT to the team. If this happened at all I'd be pissing myself with more excitement than a geriatric golden retriever...but I find it hard to believe.

So the minor trade was Artest deal. I am psyched about the major trade right now.

Can you imagine if the Rockets get Iverson? The Artest deal would then be considered minor. SICK!

    Alston, Brooks, Francis, Singletary*, Ewing*
    McGrady, Barry, Head
    Artest, Battier, Harris**
    Scola, (Landry), Dorsey, Novak
    Yao, Hayes, (Deke)

    * Partially guaranteed, expected to be waived.
    ** Non-guaranteed

They still need to do a minor trade...

I see the Rockets moving Novak for a 2nd. Then either waive or trade Singletary and Ewing Jr. for a TE.
