I think that Hayes is better defensivly than Shane. IMO, Shane is OVERRATED as a defender, I like him but I got to say since his performance against Kobe, we see him better than he is but he's still a top 10 defender in the league. Hayes is IMO the best defensif PF behind KG.

If things go smoothly I think Landry will get a $2-3M deal. Salary dumping some combination of Francis, or Head, or Novak would do it.

Miami & Clippers were after him the last he was a free agent. There's always a team willing to take a chance on a relatively small contract. I'd keep him in that group of three possible tradees.

I don't Battier is overrated, his consistency on that end is amazing. But I agree, Hayes is our best defender. He is outstanding, still so many people continue to downplay his ability. Replace him with Rodman on the 96 Bulls, still 70 wins.

We should dump our entire roster and build a new team around Chuck Hayes...

In fact - why don't we clone Chuck Hayes and then use him for all 5 positions?

    (JK) :p

the SHOOTER is definitely CHUCK HAYES

incognito as a SHOOTER......I get it

Chuck pick up a jump shot would you?

Battier is underrated as a defender according to the all defensive teams they make every year.......KOBE beat him out and then Pierce well you know the rest.......Kobe is better but Shane is more than overlooked in my opinion

I think he is tryng to say Chucky is as good as Rodman defensively. Yes as good as one of the most prolific rebounders ever who averaged over 13 rebounds a game his entire career. And our very own CHucky who not once last year had more than 13 boards. Rodman who 18+ board in two consecutive seasons and chucky who has never come close to 18 boards in 1 game.

I am a homer as much as the next guy but lets try to keep a little real. Rodman is such a better defensive player and a better offensive player as well. CHucky is our 3rd string backup 4.

Wow, I have seen Hayes play but I would not put him in the same class as Rodman. Rodman was a bull on both offensive and defensive rebounds. Hayes can rebound but he is not double digit rebounder like Rodmans. Currently the only double digit rebounder is Yao. If Hayes rebounded like Rodman, Scola and Landry would not be ahead of him in playing time.

Anybody outside of Yao or T-Mac might be included in a trade.
