Now that Kahn is gone, there is no real point in talking about Love. Not for a while anyway. We'll have to see how that situation plays out. It could be that the new GM makes repairing the relationship with Kevin Love and building a team around him his number one priority. Or it could be he wants to clear the roster and make the team his way. But whether it be either of those scenarios or one of the countless other possibilities, it's going to be a while before we start to get even a hint of an idea which direction they'll be heading.
Given that the Minnesota mouth piece (and a cpl others) tended to insult Morey whilst talking up Kahn, I got the feeling he sort of resented him. I don't think Flip has any issue with us, after all, isn't Flip from the Celtics (aka **** the lakers) fraternity? I figured his advisory role with the Celtics came as part of his induction by Mchale.
