That's just ridiculous they would charge him as a juvenile given what he was going to do. If he gets out one day and then does something, then we know who is responsible.

What does this have to do with Easter Sunday, exactly?

I'm not sure I see how that his arrest will make "tons of people" think differently about Easter Sunday. It is not like he delayed the attack because of Easter....he delayed it because there is no school on Sundays and he wanted to attack his school when kids were in class.

However, it is a miracle that this kid didn't decide to change his plans and attack a church on the 20th....somewhere where there would have been a lot of people on a Sunday, especially an Easter Sunday. Good thing this psycho didn't adapt.

I didn't realize Columbine was on 4/20. That's uncool man...tainting the stoner holiday like that.

It happened in 1999, and you didn't realize it was on 4/20, apparently it didn't taint anything for you.

You're actually standing right on top of my point! That easter Sunday could've been the day of a major tragedy in that town! I'm sure that many people in that town will think of this event next Easter! I wasn't trying to imply "differently" in a religous way but rather just remebering that it could of happened on Easter Sunday 2014'. Kind of like....(Last year, on this day, I or one of my family members could of been killed by that crazy kid) and not like just any another Easter Sunday.

Well, now it has. It takes an epiphany moment like this to remember it has tainted the stoner holiday. It may be 15 years late...but I'll remember it now. lol. I know I followed all the news coverage on it at the time. But, no reason for the date to stick otherwise. The details of the tragedy stick for me more than the date.

If I happen to light up on that date, then I will be lighting up in remembrance going forward.

Aside from 9/11, I don't see how or why unaffected people should or would remember specific tragedy dates like that off the top of their head. Obviously, you remember it if it happened to you. I mean...Mary Lou Henner or someone like her would recall it...because they never forget what they did or what happened on any given date. That's rare. Otherwise, unless your brain notes something as really memorable, things that happened on specific dates start to fade after a week and, in a few weeks, you may not even be able to recall anything you did or that happened on a past date. They were talking about that on the news segment discussing these people who remember every date and what happened.
