Thanks man - I appreciate it. I don't hear much from people so I can never tell if they like it or are offended by it Here's the TWolves recap: http://www.clutchfans.net/nbadraft/lottery Bingo. It goes to the Clippers, believe it or not, from the Marko Jaric-Sam Cassell deal. As if that could get any worse for Minnesota. Anyhow, only goes to LA if it's 11 or higher. http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/14242948.htm
I like it. Strategically, there's no reason for the Rockets to win another game this season, so why shouldn't we tank? The added humor makes it all that much better.
Well I for one love those recaps. Even though I haven't always been in the tanking camp, those "quotes" that you come up with are absolutely side-splitting.
I know, I didn't know there so many of them and read them all this morning. Great stuff. Speaking of that, pgabriel in his other thread brings up a good point about Orlando, fading their way back into the playoff race.....
Garnett will be traded to the Lakers during the off-season. Lakers will win a championship again after two years.
Oh boy, at least Minny's management is not dumb enough to risk KG's health for meaningless games. Unlike JVG and CD, those guys are just stupid.
So KG is sippin' Pina Coladas while Yao Ming is stuck in a cast for a while? I'm loving this Rockets McManagement.
Yeah that's true. So if I see Yao limping around this off-season, i'm going to go congratulate him on being a warrior. Then, I'm going to join KG in them Pina Coladas. Just kidding, Yao will always be a beast. I wonder what KG feels about this. I actually don't think it's so bad sitting him if you're not going to make the playoffs.
There you go again with your suspicious ways. Last year it was Yao, now you are on Garnet's case. Who will it be after that? Lebron to LA for Baby Oliver Miller + filler?
I hope they do if it's true that he's just taking time off. it sets a horrible precedent for ticket holders and broadcasters if you can start to go "canoner2002" on your season. I mean, we don't get our money back for games not in playoff contention - why should teams be allowed to deliver an inferior product?
Yeah - from the St. Paul Pioneer Press yesterday, but the NBA won't be able to do anything. http://www.twincities.com/mld/twincities/14312745.htm I mean it was obvious what they were doing, but when Deuce mentioned that if their pick was 11 or higher they would lose their first rounder, that made it blatantly obvious. Seriously, one win could ultimately prove to be the difference between pick #8 and #11, so they wanted to leave no doubt.
Tanking is ridiculous as a customer. . . I'd be pissed this This would be like . . .. going to a restaurant and them putting up the good food and serving you scraps, closing earlier and shoveling you out as quickly as possible. Rocket River
Damn damn damn, I KNEW I should have taken LeBron #1 in my draft this year. F--- you, McHale. I was only down 4 points! @#$*)!@#!$$^@#
How cheap. I hope the wolves end up with the 11th pick somehow. Just to teach them a lesson about tanking. I also hope that this causes KG to leave Minnesota because he is so pissed by it.
Clutch. Paid $7500 for a #3 combo at Wendys.....ROFLMAO !! That is some good stuff..... Can't wait to see the recap on this Minny vs Houston clanker. It was close but we managed to pull it out. DD
