The cop shoved an old man using a cane with his riot shield. But then one of them halfassed tried to help him up, so it's all good.
A lot of this has been happening.... earlier an officer decided to walk over to a woman in NY and thrower her onto the curb where she had a seizure and the officer just kept walking. Posted on here was SWAT shooting paint etc into people sitting on their front porch. In Chicago where I am, I know several people involved in the riot that said officers were using their clubs a little too liberally. What shocks me is we haven’t seen MORE gun violence from the rioters. With how many fire arms there are, I’m shocked we haven’t had any real shootouts.
I saw all of those and that's what truly angers me. That's the type of power trip bullshit that has us where we are at. I'm also shocked at the lack of shoot outs. I'm glad that we haven't really heard of any. Don't need anymore gasoline added to the blazing fire.
The militarization of law enforcement has got to stop. They have a financial incentive to **** with people and seize property...and the Federal government subsidizes it all, because "Homeland Security".
"F*ck the police coming straight from the Luby's, old man got it bad cuz he's been sucking on ur nan's boobies"
Does it matter? Whether the President is a nice guy like Obama or a mean guy like Trump, black people are attacking police in the streets because a repeat violent criminal was apprehended in a manner they don't approve of. None of them are protesting the guy committing the crime making them look bad. The problem is not the leadership if a demographic doesn't listen to them regardless.
Or Molotov cocktails which are popular to protest anything from penalty kicks to ms venezuela getting robbed of the miss universe title.
Bingo! Couple that with a little healthy fear for the ruling class/authorities that the people will riot and worse if they are taken advantage of. In this country the establishment feels 100% insulated and that is dangerous.
It's a lesson. If you have underlying health conditions, don't test the coronavirus. If you have underlying health conditions, don't commit crimes and test the police. Can't always be everyone else's fault
your attempt to draw moral equivalence between a cop in the midst of riot control duties shoving someone down and then helping them up to the mayhem we are seeing from the rioters is not very convincing
