Is Herro not part of Miami's plan to compete for a championship right now? He's one of their better players. I'd think they'd want only to add veterans, not trade talent away. I didn't know Herro was on the market unless it was for a star or something.

I thought it's just that we weren't prepared to offer him more $$s. It's specifically how he acted yesterday which is why I think he's perfect. Maybe now with the distractions gone and the team can focus and rebuild, maybe he will want to stay and be part of things. His reactions at the end of the game were a great sign IMO.
True, but Tucker has an expiring contract too. Tilman will probably take 2 second round picks, if the T-Wolves can accommodate his salary.
Really depends on how you see Herro vs Oladipo/Tucker.Same exact deal makes some sense for MPJ in Denver. Oladipo and Tucker is a slick contender package.
100%... Those are the targets for sure. Oladipo and Tucker is a hell of a contender package, and we can throw in some picks too.
The pick is better IMO. If Culver start to get better, this year, then breaks out next, then its trade or pay him based on 1 full season of production. The late bloomers hurt the plan and Rockets probably would have to throw money at him before they are ready to compete. Unless he break out we trade him a the end of this season. Also, MInny's picks have value, I would love for the Rockets to get their hands on a 1st of theirs like GS.
I forgot about that. Yeah since we're not winning a title and we're not resigning him, it only makes since to trade him for any kind of future help.
Jarred is an energetic rebounder, versatile defender and ball handler. He’s a Lamar Odom clone who’s a consistent jumper away from being a damn good player. He’s a hard working high character kid who loves HTown.
No, if you can get a first rounders for him, you trade him. Tucker doesn’t even want to be on the Rockets, he will leave at the end of the year anyway.
The reason I think you try to keep Oladipo is I think he is a perfect paring with J. Wall and the Rockets are not going to be able to trade Wall for at least another 2yrs. And who's going to give up a good young prospect for an expiring contract? However, inspite of what everybody is saying, I still think the Rockets will be a good team with alot of assets moving forward, all they need is a legit PF. This is a good young nucleus moving forward; Oladipo- 28 Wall - 30 Wood - 25 House -26 AG, J. Collins? Strong young bench. I think they are a top 4-5 team in the West. Outside of LAL, I don't see another team better. Port? Clippers? Utah? Denver? Dallas?
PJ is expiring .... Doesn't make sense for the Rockets to extend him and letting him expire is wasting an asset. May as well get something in return , whatever it may be. I don't see the fit with Minny , a contender makes more sense.
FWIW, Tucker just posted an IG story with his kid in the picture in what looks like a driveway. Not sure if that's someone else taking the picture and he's just posting it. Not sure if that's Tucker at someone's house in San Antonio (I thought there were restrictions) Not sure if that's Tucker back home in Houston and not in SA anymore.
I'd hate to see Tucker go tbh. I don't know what he's demanding in the off-season but I wish we can keep him somehow.
A bucket of seconds from KFC not gonna do it. You want the tuck wagon you giving up a first round chick fil a sandwich.
