    I am disapointed to hear that. I was hopping that he choose 11 to represent the number of NBA championships he planned to win.

    A few days ago, I heard on 610 that Yao's jersey would read "YAO MING" on the back. Isn't this a little odd? I figured that it would only read Yao since that is his family's name. Any idea on why he will have both names on his jersey?

    That's been the word since the day after he was drafted. It doesn't matter to me...if that's the way they (Chinese) do it so be it. Just him wearing any Rockets uniform is enough for me.
