Everyone was saying that Ming would be signed after the Asian games. Now all in a sudden they try to have it wrapped up by Friday. Is the urgency to sign Ming in any way related to the slow season ticket renewals?

Clutch, nice scoop. one question. what does this have to do with getting a FIBA Clearance letter. My understanding in July was that this signing had already happened....I mean, that is what CD and Goldberg told us. They said the player contract was done and we awaited the CBA to clear him. So, how does a player contract agreement have anything necessarily to do with the CBA sending the required clearance letter to FIBA. Nothing happens without that. Who was it??? Voskuhl getting kicked out of the Suns camp, for reference.
