Juan Valdez - Those are good points but let me take this a step further. Forget governments, how do the common Chinese view each other? (Mainland versus Taiwan). I tend to be an optimist, but the level of international communication I see occurring over Yao Ming in the NBA can only be a good thing for all Asians. Just my humble opinion.
