It would be an embarassment if Ming got more votes than Shaq. Imagine if that happened to Dream a few years ago? Even if it did happen, whoever coaches the team would play Ming for 1 minute then put Shaq in.

Why didn't all these people vote for Wang?

I think Ming will get a lot of overseas votes, which in turn will get more towards Mobley, Franchise, Eddie ...etc. Just look at last years MLB all-star voting it was almost an all Mariner starting lineup because everyone overseas who voted for Ichiro also voted for the rest of the Seattle squad.

    Hey, it could happen!:D :D

Would Yao even be on the All-Star Ballot?

From what happened to Griffin and his chances at making it to the Rookie game, the NBA creates the ballots way before the season starts (or very early into the season, heck they even put Cato over more worthy all star centers)

If Yao doesn't have an amazing first month, I don't think he will even be considered for the ballot.

Every team puts a player at each position on the list. It is not up to the NBA if Ming is on the list. The Rockets will either choose Cato or Ming to take the center position.

Hey, it worked for Japan and the Mariners. I bet it happens with the Rockets too.
