Just wanted to know if the game is on KTBU 55 tonight? tvguide.com doesn't show the game on 55 or FSN 37. I'm assuming 55 is a low budget local station that doesn't get updated by tvguide.com. Once and for all, is FSN 37 showing the home games and KTBU 55 showing away games? I haven't heard a definative answer on this. Tonight's game is a home game, but since it's the season opener, I'm thinking it's a special situation. Please clear up my confusion. Thanks. FYI-It's important tonight because it's Halloween and I'll be out with my kids and unable to see the game live. I would be physically ill if I taped 3 hours of bad sitcoms. ------------------
The Chron says the game starts at 7:30 on channel 55. ------------------ Hey, I've got a new signature! 302
The rockets game will be on 55 tonight. The prgame starts at 7:00pm and the game at 7:30 pm. Check out clutch's new media page for more info . . . http://www.clutchcity.net/nextgame.cfm?NextGameID=83 ------------------
Thanks guys. http://tv.yahoo.com shows the local listings for KTBU 55 which has the Rockets listed. I'll look there in the future. [This message has been edited by Tb-Cain (edited October 31, 2000).]
This is like twice this week that a Rockets' question as been posted in the NBA Dish section. Oh the humanity!!!!! ------------------ When you make an assumption, you make an ass out of yourself and umption. visit www.swirve.com
Very specific question here: I entered the world of DirecTV this year. I cannot pick up 55 off-air for the life of me. The home games are on FSN. If I get the NBA League Pass, do I get the Road Games, or are they blacked out in town? I've gotten different answers on this. Thanks a lot y'all! Go Rockets! Go Arena! ------------------

I posted this in the NBA Dish section to avoid those posters who seem to have a fit whenever they see a "what channel is the game on" thread. So if you're one of those, please, deal. ------------------
All I can say is that since I got the dish, I cannot get 55 for the life of me. PLEASE put the games on a channel with a stronger signal! I think 55 is out of Conroe and I'm only down I10 west. Its very frustrating. Anyone else experiencing this? ------------------
Wow, a thread moved to the Rockets 2000 forum. As long as we're on the subject of the Rockets on the Tube... does anybody else have trouble getting decent reception on that channel? I got crappy reception before. Then I installed an attic antenna, which improved the reception I get on every other station, and now I can't pick up 55 at all! I know the tower in on the north side and I'm in Sugar Land but still... what the hell were the Rockets thinking teaming up with such a weak station? Anybody know of a way to improve the reception (short of cable, that is)? glance: apparently I was composing while you were posting. I'm having the same problem - ever since I got the Dish and they installed my attic antenna. [This message has been edited by ChrisP (edited October 31, 2000).]
You should get Fox Sports SW automatically even if you didn't order the sports package. And yes, games are under the same blackout rules whether you have NBA League Pass or not. ------------------ RocketFuel is dead!
