While I'm all for yao being agressive and physical when possible, I would hope he wouldn't toss elbows at other guys heads. Two months of muay thai lessons have taught me that you don't ever want to catch in elbow an the head/face, ever. It's far more dangerous than a punch and can cause serious injury. If a referee notices Yao intentionally throwing an elbow at somebody's head, he should call a flagrant foul on yao every time.

Yao has much to learn of the force, but he's on his way to becoming a Jedi...

Maybe Santiago was trying to be helpful. As in, Yao keeps his elbows so high that they'd swing right over the heads of most defenders.

As for the Porter Technical, I thought the refs wouldn't have blown the whistle on Yao because they already let Milwaukee get away with some physical play to get it out of Yao's hands in the first place. The Bucks were lucky a foul wasn't called on them.

The technical was a good choice by Porter though because in the end it netted him a point. The 3-second violation the refs whistled on Yao after he hit his shot was definitely a make-up call to pacify Porter without throwing Yao out of the game. So, 2 points for the Rockets were turned into a turnover. Good move by Porter.

Looks like Yao is learning his basketball skills from The Rock and WWE.

I think the longest missed FTs streak is kept by Vin Baker. He missed 20 in a row when he was in a slump.
