Milwaukee is looking good so far at 9-7. Everyone wants to remember the Sixers as the worst team in basketball last year, but the Bucks were actually worse. Milwaukee showing the league that you don't have to tank for a half decade to go from worst in the league, to potential playoff candidate. Here is stat, Milwaukee got their 9th win this season tonight. It took until Feb. 3 for them to get their ninth win last year. Another random stat, in none of Milwaukee's 16 games this season have they had the game's high scorer.
We know they have talent: The Greek, Jabari, Henson, Sanders, Jennings, Ilyasova etc. so it's not surprising.
The Bucks have enough vets to be a middling team. Their former owner always kept them in win now mode. When those vets are healthy they're a borderline 8th seed in the east. They'll drop off by the end of the season as they usually do.
I think you have to give Kidd a lot of credit because they are playing really good D this year. They were the worst defensive team in the league last year with largely the same roster. The Greek Freak has shown exponential improvement from last year, although he still needs to work on that 3ball. If he continues the upward trajectory he could be a star. The tandem of him and Parker could be an interesting duo to watch, Milwaukee could already have 2 superstars on their roster. I'm emphasize "could" Brandon Knight is also a pretty good little scorer. Given the comically bad East i expect them to make the playoffs, but their potential in a few years is what's really intriguing. Possibly OKC 2.0.
Brandon Knight and Brandon Jennings are about as far away as you can get while still playing the same position....Knight is having a good year though, thought he was a lost cause.
Yeah I agree they need one more top 5 pick to solidify there rebuild Muliday Knight Giannas Parker Sanders/Henson
surprised no one has mentioned khris Middleton and oj mayo. The defense is susceptible but the offense is talented enough to pull out wins with kidd's coaching
