Bro. When I was a kid I fell in love with the Astros because the broadcast was the only thing my parents would let me listen to after my bed time. I'd fall asleep to Milo's voice just about every night during baseball season -- for years. Sucks.
Milo did my voicemail about 10 years ago. I asked him if he would do it and he did it while chowing down on the famous pregame fried chicken at MMP.
Rest in peace, Milo. While I was never a fan of his, he is a big part of Astros history and he will never be forgotten.
The Baseball community truly lost a great one radio announcer... Milo will be missed. I wont ever forget growing up as a kid listening to baseball games on 740 with Milo. Wishing his family the best during this difficult time. RIP Milo
Grew up listening to Milo and probably heard 2000+ broadcasts. "Man, oh man" "Holy Toledo" "Hotter than a depot stove" Good times R.I.P.
RIP. Had the pleasure of talking to him every week back when I owned the bar and we did Astros Radio show broadcasts there. He was a hell of a guy and glad I actually got to meet him.
