I am and have been fully aware the NIE report is a source for many who contend against the War in Iraq and its' ties to the War on terror...However, the wording I have presented is a part of the same report which is based as a source for verifiable truth in intelligence and substantial conclusions...Now, how can this be untarnished with contradictory statements which reflect as a threat from what I posted based from the same report?

The ties to a threat via terrorism linked so easily and recognizable...First and foremost, Saddam was a dictator who abused his power with uncontrollable fevor...You have examples such as utilizing WMD against his own people,...You have the invasion of another country,...You have assorted and various mass killings...All of these acts, in itself was terroristic...

Second, you have the profound openess of embracing the terroristic ideology...You have examples of him publicly funding and praising suicidal bombers...examples of the style and nature of the governmental proccesses in his own country which was conducive to terror against the people...

Thirdly, you have his blatant facination with WMD and his proven misuse of them coupled with the engaging part in the NIE report which substantiates his scope and capabilities on the issue of WMD irregardless to a conclusive estimate on his behavior (as if his behavior could be estimated...c'mon! )...Adding all the checkmarks doesn't take an intelligence expert to recognize the ties to a probable terroristic threat solely based on this undisputed reasoning...

Of course, this is MY OPINION, but I venture there is a basis for tying the War in Iraq, with the War on Terror...

p.s. I'm sorry to post twice, but I wanted to get it done right as I intended, I further wanted to add that it is reasonable to conclude that Saddam Hussein presented clear indicators of a threat from his demontrated and exhibited abusive power, embracing the terroristic ideology as stated, and blatant facination with WMD and misuse...which lends itself to logically summate his eventual willingness to harbor and make ready provisions of numerous resources to the similiar terroristic ilk such as Al Qaeda...

Do I have concrete, exclusive and absolute tangible proof? No...The question is do I really need it based on reason and rationale...
