weird, I buy quarts Lactaid milk (milk for lactose intolerant people) and its price hasn't changed all summer.
it costs more than gas! for those prices, i should not only be able to make arroz con leche with it; but also run my car on it! i read a while back that grocery stores make a $1.70 profit from every gallon of milk in Texas. You can put the blame on 2 things.....JVG or Uncle Drayton
I don't drink milk straight, but I know the little lady drinks that million dollar a quart "organic" milk..
Anyone seen the Truth commercial where the Truth guy is talking to the cow milk farmer and says "Milk is more dangerous than 2nd hand smoke"? WTF was all that about? I don't ever remember anyone being scared of milk.
Actually, I think he specifically mentioned whole milk in that commercial. I don't know if you've seen the fat and calorie content of whole milk, but it's not exactly the healthiest thing you can drink. Personally, I really don't see the point of drinking straight milk. For cereal and cooking, milk is fine, but you can get just as much calcium from certain vegetables than you can from milk. About those Truth commercials, I'm pretty sure they are the brainchild of big tobacco. They make the commercials so stupid and over the top, it makes people actually hate them...
coffee groundz raised their prices because of the high cost of milk (or says the sign they have on the counter)
I haven't drank milk in a few years. Its plain nasty and not really natural to drink. I get my calcium from supplements and fruits. http://www.notmilk.com/
It's supposed to be good a week after the date. Milk with more fat % in them take longer to expire than skim milk.
i forgot who started the thread, but it was a classic here. some dude was at cvs and he saw some ladies buy gallons and gallons of milk. You guys remember that?
