I drink the 2%. I don't really like milk, but drink it for health reasons anyways. I just gulp it down as fast as I can. I'm afraid to ask, but what exactly is soy milk?
skim milk. it's what our family has bought ever since i was a kid so being raised on it, i'm used to it and highly prefer it to all the others. i can't stand having whole milk on cereal and even 2% sucks on cereal. i can take 1% but i'm all about skim. and i drink a ton of milk outside of cereal as it is. i went through 4 gallons in a 2 week period just recently (though i usually only have a little over a gallon each week).
I went with whole milk because I dont' drink a cup a week. However, I am a sucker for those rich International coffee creamer/flavorers: Cinnamon Hazlenut... about a box a week.
I used to drink 2% but switched to 1% when I got married because that's what my wife drinks. I don't think that I can tell the difference.
1% or soy milk. I only use it in coffee and tea, plus cooking. I don't eat cereal. Soy milk works great in tea, but it sux in coffee.
I've tried, but I cannot stomach soy milk. It's just wrong. The poor soy plants, how can we treat them so poorly?
I'm the same way. I've tried it several times, and that planty aftertaste just disgusts me. It ain't right, I tell ya.
He's referring to www.notmilk.com I tried soy milk after reading that, but just couldn't get past the aftertaste - just nasty. I'm a skim guy - it's only natural since I don't like butter, margarine, mayonaisse, salad dressings or most other fatty spreads.
I was the last person in the family to stop drinking whole milk or what to call it (3.5%). Then switched to light (1.5%) and drank that for a couple of years. Then a new kind came out, extra light w/extra vitamin D (0.7%) and I switched to that instantly. ditn notice much difference, and a couple months later I thought to myself if I didnt notice much difference in going down from 1.5 to 0.7, I could try skim (0.1%) and see how that was. not much differnce there either, so now it is all I drink (can drink extra light on occasions - but now I do notice a difference - and light is like drinking cream - ugh)
My mouth is watering, I'ver never seen that before, where can I get that in Houston? As for me, 2% all the way. Mmm, I loves me a cold glass of milk. At night, when I'm watching tv, sometimes I just sit down with a tall ice cold glass and some warm chocolate chip cookies. . . heaven.
Well if those other mammals put ovaltine in their milk then it would be good for them. Ovaltine is the best...better than chocolate milk.
