Forget the coaching and X's and O's for a moment. What about the passion?

    Do you like this?

That dude looks scary when he gets p-ssed. You can understand why the Spurs players give it their all out there. You do not want Pop pulling you aside and tearing you a new one.

Honestly, we can't read too much into one game. JB looked shellshocked at times out there last night, and how could he not given the day he and the rest of the staff had just endured. But I'm fine with him getting a shot at this to see if he has what it takes. The rest of the November's schedule ain't too tough. If he can turn it around and get the team to commit to playing solid defense every night(the offense will come eventually), he'll get that "interim" label removed.

Remember, Rudy T was an assistant under Chaney and had no interest in the head coaching job. He only wound up being the best coach in this franchise's history.

He was standing all game. Calling plays. Making changes on the go. I think he's a great temporary answer and could prove to be an actual answer for the future.

I loved his energy. He was even sweating because he was so active and into the game. He may just be the real deal. He certainly sparked a fire under the teams ass last night. Keep it up JB!

Phil is a strange coach. I've never seen a guy so calm and cool when his team looks like they're en route to a loss only to have his players turn things around with him still sitting there watching in his Zen-like state. The one that sticks out the most for me is Game 7 vs the Blazers in 2000 when the Lakers were down 15 in the 4th and on the verge of blowing a 3-1 series lead.

That's very true. Having a hard time imagining Phil jumping off the bench and yelling at people with a clipboard in his hand mid-game.

I'm glad we turned the page with McHale.
WE (CF's) were very vocal about going in another direction and Les/Morey listened, HOWEVER I think it's time to let it go!

I loved the energy from JB, but I especially liked how he went to the Harden post-up, then went back to again and again FTW.

Crazy how when you keep going back to stuff that works it helps you win, right?!

Several coaching titles make coaches pretty calm.
