He stated that he had called it in, was waiting for backup, and thought that if he could just delay him for 30 seconds, it would give backup time to get there...**** happens fast, try to keep up. I'm not veteran, but I know some branches do. In fact, can't green berets, SEALS, and marines be tried for assault with a deadly weapon, or even murder, if they get in a fist fight (one that is deemed to not in self defense) because they are trained to kill in hand to hand combat?
Some of you should just admit that you'd be happy as f*** if MB had gotten a hold of the gun and killed DW.
If that happened, the cop would have been just another statistic and local news story. Unless there is some sort of national cop killing network these idiots are a part of, no one one here would have even known about the street thug criminal.
http://www.startribune.com/local/minneapolis/283891941.html car ran through a Minnesota protest, damn
I didn't say police were targeting black people. I pretty much implied that people like you don't care that a black person was gunned down in the street for whatever reason... But you go head and keep coming up with excuses for Wilson doing his job and following all proper police procedures.

Interesting action at the :18 second marker. All those white folk are trying to mug the driver. Guy starts pounding the car with a flag pole and its the black guy trying to get everyone to leave him alone.
Apparently at mlk n third ward. According to kprc. Right to protest is good. But looting and violence is inexcusable.
Dumb asses need to get out of the street. The car was in the right, they were under mob attack. #stupidobamavoters
What we know: 1. Michael Brown committed two felonies moments prior to the event. 2. Michael Brown's stepfather was a multiple convicted felon. 3. Michael Brown's stepfather called for the rioting and burning of the town 4. Michael Brown's mother committed armed robbery after the event. 5. Michael Brown had drugs in his system. 6. Officer Wilson had a spotless record as an officer. 7. Officer Wilson was informed of a robbery moments prior 8. Officer Wilson had evidence of a physical altercation 9. Police officers are trained to use deadly force if they use their gun So essentially I have heard some version of Officer Wilson deciding he wanted to kill a black kid. Suddenly after years on the force, he decided it was a good time to kill a black man. Not kill the black co-robber, only Brown.... With no charges or allegations of excessive force in the past, just all of a sudden. Possible? Sure... But the idea that Brown attacked Wilson and charged him makes a whole lot more sense.
Off topic? I think ATW's post was very on topic. Wilson is far from an isolated example of a police officer being unable to deal with a situation without resorting to using his firearm.

Let's not twist this around and blame the victim here, the officer was attacked and reacted in an appropriate manner.
