I just listened to the audio clip.........."Josie" is now saying that Officer Wilson was aware of the robbery during the encounter. That goes against what the police chief put out friday? Has anything official been put out that verifies this version of events?
I misread the subtitle. It says "Two more autopsies planned", which...imho...implies that at least one has been conducted. Wonder when the results will be released.
The officer asked them to stop proceeding down the middle of the street. They refused and cussed at the officer. He pulls ahead and over (and might have called for backup she says). While waiting for the two guys to catch up to where he had pulled over, the officer learns of the stong arm robbery and the melee ensues after Brown goes for the gun.
2 days ago it was said that the officer had no idea Brown was suspected in a robbery. Has the police department's position on this changed?
I would imagine that there was just some confusion. When he first spoke to the kids, he had no idea. In those few seconds though as he pulled over the report came in of the robbery. These two matched the description down to the cigars they were carrying. Then it was on...
I think the Chief clarified that the initial contact was based on them walking in the street, and that he noticed the cigars while pulling away, which is why he stopped (and reversed?) to confront them.

So everyone that said he was shot in the back told a lie. What other lies are the media telling to incite these protests? These protesters are emotional and the media needs to take great care in reporting the FACTS. These protests are occurring without the protesters knowing the facts. It's just ignorance on display.... people jumping to conclusions without the whole story.
read a page back about the larger issues facing black communities as a result of a history of subjugation
So he wasn't shot in the back and the final shot was in the top of his head, doesn't that pretty much kill all of the witness testimony thus far? You can't be either running away or even standing up with your hands in the air surrendering and get shot in the top of the head. Eyewitness accounts are always so sketchy.
The bullet wounds to the inside of the palm and the inside of the forearm.... I can't get anything out of that besides surrender/ defensive wounds
Well the guy who did the autopsy said that he couldn't have possibly lived no matter how quickly he got to the hospital. The shot to the top of the head was pretty much an instant kill. I'm not a doctor, but I think he could have had a chance to survive the rest of them depending on where the one that hit his chest on the right side traveled. I knew someone who survived similar gunshot wounds, but the one to the top of the head...no coming back from that.
