This pick feels less than strategic and more like spiking the football. Vance brings absolutely nothing to the table. He is merely an empty vessel from which Trumpism can be carried forward for a new generation. Vance's heel turn from practically populist left to Alex Jones right shows his level of naked ambition. At least Mike Pence had principles.
