Because that game was in SA, but Minny game was in Houston. Houston fans deserve to watch Yao play.

If Yao's foot was really that bad, they wouldn't be playing him at all.

He had 13 points in 17 minutes, how bad can it be?

What did it tell you when he played the very next game?

How's Yao doing in that Rick Adelman high post offense?

Remember when Yao was supposed to never be the same player again?

Know what his per 36 min stats are?

    Same as ever.

Now we do what's best for Yao rather than what's best for the team. We could beat the T-Wolves with our reserves. Yao should have played against the Spurs. Stupid move.

Two non-native English speakers discussing a complex issue. Yao's foot probably is bothering him, but in what way? Maybe it's bothering him that he can't play more. Hence, the comment about coach.

    It's nothing until it's something.

Know what I said he would average in his 24mins? Use the search tool. Know what durvasa told me without me not even trying? Its right in line with his normal numbers. See thats the difference between you and I. I dont need 36 mins or some other useless stat to tell me what common sense will tell me. 36min stats are useful when the player plays 36 mins. 36 mins stats dont take in account stamina and other variables.

Pretty much. We could be in a position where a tie breaker with the spurs can determine a seed and this is what we get. The rockets beat the wolves every game last year minus yao and split last year with the spurs.

Was it common sense that told you Rick would be licking his chops to use Yao in the high post?

Was it common sense that told you we would not pound the ball to Yao anymore, because he is not the same player?

36 min stats tell me how effective he was in the minutes he played. My eye ball test tells me he is/will be just as dominant in the low post as ever.

I don't know about you, but it was common sense to me to use your dominant low post scorer(one of the very few) in the low post.

Tell me what your excuse, I mean common sense tells you when he is playing 30 minutes in Feb. and 35 minutes in May.

Oh, and as far as common sense goes, don't talk to me about common sense when your common sense involves comparing an injured basketball player with fixing a freakin' rig.

That's when you know something has gone terribly wrong with your common sense.

We do what's best for Yao rather than what's best for the team???

What are you talking about? What is the "we" that you and the only idiot are referring to? The Rockets organization? Are you trying to say that the Rockets management do what's best for Yao than for the team? Are you crazy or just plain stupid?

Did you watch the Golden State game? We have also beat the Warriors every time last year. What's your point?

We have lost the first 4 games and was the only winless team in the league. Nothing was more important that securing the first win in the season. We saw the better match up so we decided to use Yao in the Wolves game. What do you still not understand about? Are you really this dumb?

I hope he is playing 36 minutes later in the year so the rockets will have an idea of what they should pay him. Common sense tells me you dont know what dominant is if you think yao is a dominant post player. See utah series.

I used the analogy to justify the cost and if he's able to hold up. When you're declared healthy enough to play and get your feet wet, there arent limitations or should be. Jordan broke his foot and came back late in the season and killed in the playoffs. I dont recall the bulls saying, lets play him limited minutes, do you? You probably wasnt even watching basketball then is what my common sense tells me.

See, you think I want yao to fail and thats dumb of you. I hope he fully revovers and plays to his best. Yao at his best can only help the rockets. The difference is when you and other act like the rockets have rode yao's back to a parade on westheimer and that hasnt happened. It hasnt even come close to happening so why not try to do something different if we know the result. Yao has many good qualities, but the variables have to be too perfect to be successful in a game dominated by impact plays and impact players. Everyone is saying yao looks good and i can agree with those people offensively, but defensively,he's been terrible like the rest. They need his effort and stamina on defense moreso than his offense. 5 rebs and getting pinned under the rim countless times by okafor doesnt cut it. The rockets need his rebounding and interior presence alot right now. They need him to stop playing high because he's fatigued. Fatigued on defense hurts the team more than fatigue on offense. So you can take what you want out of it and I'm sure you will, but as I said time and time again, its the Houston Rockets last i checked.

Right, you care about the Houston Rockets so much that you tried to imply the organization does what's best for a player than for the team. You are the definition of a hypocrite. Face it.
