Lil Pun never fails to demonstrate the Philly bias. ;)

Michael Vick - the Hitler of Dogs, is fine but Kobe or Big Ben, the rapists are criminals of the highest order!

I haven't bashed Kobe or Roethlisberger and didn't mean to in that specific post either. I apologize if it came out that way. Their charges were dropped so technically they're innocent in the eyes of the law. I do have a problem with Vick being compared to child molesters and spouse abusers, no one specifically though.

Tax evasion......dog fighting and animal cruelty.....murder.......child molestation and rape.

All felonies but I think the comparisons end there. I think we can agree that all of these crimes are not similar.

In other news, Kobe Bryant told reporters Thursday that he wants another white teenage Colorado girl "sometime down the road".

Relax Pun, I never compared Vick to any child molester or wife beater. No, I went straight for the Hitler character killshot!

In all honesty, I think Vick has served his time and shown sincerity to seek forgivness and redemption. So I'm fine that and he deserves a second chance. Now, my only problem with Vick is that he is not really an elite QB in my book. Aside from that one lights out performance against the Redskins, he has struggled against better defenses.

Well, I was not specifically attacking you so sorry if it seemed that way.

I don't think anybody has credited him with being an elite quarterback but he is head and shoulders above where he was at in Atlanta. Despite what you may think, he has been pretty good throughout the season even against good defenses. He has had a rating of over 90 in every game except one (against the Giants and that was because no tds were thrown but no ints were either), he has had 5 games of a rating over 100 and his td-int ration is among the best. He been elite, this season anyway.

Let him have a dog the guy was in prison for over a year for this. I wouldnt be shocked to see Vick in trouble with the law again but I would be shocked if it regarded dog fighting.

Alot of dogs have terrible homes just drive down MLK drive where there are dogs every other corner that have been hit by a car and the others just wandering the streets. They'd be much better off in Vicks million dollar home than walking the streets.....

No big deal to me....if he wants 1 or 10 doesn't matter to me. My life is not over if he gets a dog.

Pun, my comparison is based on other candidates with who whom Vick is in contention for MVP. Brady, the clear frontrunner has played lights out against some of the best defenses in the league like the Steelers, Jets, Bears, and Ravens. But, then you look at Vick in games against good defenses like the Bears, Packers and Giants, and he's had his share of struggles. Beating the Lions, Redskins, Texans, and Cowboys is not really a big accomplishment even if he had a rating of more than 90 in those games. In order for me to consider him a top shelf QB, Vick has to play better against the top teams in the NFC. Right now the race is Brady, Rivers, Brees, and then Vick.

I agree that Brady is above everybody else.
